Ray Brown serves as executive director for the Associated Colleges of Central Kansas (ACCK), which is a consortium of six church-related liberal arts institutions: Bethany College, Bethel College, Kansas Wesleyan University (KWU), McPherson College, Sterling College, and Tabor College. ACCK provides centralized administrative computing services and selected academic programs. Brown earned his PhD in curriculum and instruction at the University of Missouri-Columbia. Prior to joining ACCK, he served as chief academic officer for Mayville State University (MaSU)and Valley City State University (VCSU) in eastern North Dakota. MaSU and VCSU are joined in a partnership involving a number of top-level administrators. He taught for twelve years at VCSU and Northwest Missouri State University. He was also dean of Faculty at KWU.
