Patricia (Trish) Reed is the coordinator of OKTechMasters, the Oklahoma and Cleveland Counties Telecommunications and Distance Learning Technology Training Consortium. She leads a team of 40 master trainers who are actively training teachers from common education, vocational education, and higher education how to use technology and the Internet in their classrooms to improve teaching and learning.

Before coming to OKTechMasters, Reed served for two years at the Oklahoma State Department of Education as the coordinator of Instructional Technology and Telecommunications where she founded and directed the Oklahoma Teacher Telementor Program. She also designed and taught Oklahoma's Level 1, Intro to the Internet training program to K-12 teachers across the state. Owning her own desktop publishing and Web design company for 10 years helped Reed create and manage the SDE's 200+ page Web site.

Trish has over 20 years of experience in computers ranging from LAN management and hands-on computer training to hardware troubleshooting and repair. She wears crimson and cream on game days in honor of her alma mater as well as her 14 years of service to the University of Oklahoma in the College of Engineering where she trained staff and faculty on the latest office suite products and Internet services.

Reed is an active member of the Oklahoma Technology Administrators and the Oklahoma Distance Learning Association, and is a founding member of TECH CORPS Oklahoma.
