Maureen Atkins is the project manager for the Center for Internet Technology in Education (CiTE), sponsored by eCollege. Ms. Atkins handles the event planning and coordination of all CiTE Projects, including the annual CiTE conference, Virtual High School symposium, Presidents' Roundtable, and semiannual Advisory Board meetings.

Ms. Atkins previously held the position of help desk team leader for eCollege, and worked in the company's unique 24/7 technical support Help Desk. Ms. Atkins has been with eCollege since 1998.

Prior to joining eCollege, Ms. Atkins worked as an Admissions Counselor for Vassar College. She also worked as an Admissions Coordinator at Wellesley College. For three summers she worked for the Johns Hopkins University Center for Talented Youth (CTY), where mentored academically gifted teenagers.

Ms. Atkins holds a Bachelor of Arts degree in English from Wellesley College.
