Karen Kaminski

Karen Kaminski earned a PhD in adult learning and technology and an MS in instructional design from the University of Wyoming, as well as a BS in elementary education from the University of Wisconsin, Madison. She has worked in the field of instructional design and distance learning for over ten years. Prior to this, she provided support for computer and networking software and hardware. Kaminski currently holds two positions at Colorado State University. She is the assistant director/coordinator of instructional design for the Office of Instructional Services; in addition to other responsibilities, her position involves assisting faculty in designing effective multimedia courses for both resident and distance delivery. Her second position is an instructor for the masters program in Adult Education and Training. The courses she teaches, Program Planning/Instructional Design and Communications and Multimedia Technologies, are offered fully online to distance students. Kaminski and co-author William D. Millheim have been significant collaborators in their research for several years.
