Iola Peed-Neal
Associate Director of the Center for Teaching and Learning

Iola Peed-Neal has over 20 years of experience in faculty and instructional development. As associate director of the UNC Center for Teaching and Learning (CTL), she works with administrators, faculty, and staff to provide comprehensive, University-wide organizational, faculty, and instructional development programs. She is primarily responsible for planning and managing the Center, for pan-Center projects, and for instructional research initiatives. In addition, she conducts consultations on instructional issues and course development, develops workshops and conferences on teaching, and writes articles and manuals on teaching issues. She serves on University and departmental committees that address instructional technology, diversity, and classroom planning.
