Donna Wood is currently the Director of the Center for Teaching and Learning at Northeastern State University and is also Associate Professor of Instructional Technology in the College of Education. Wood provides systemic academic technology direction for Academic Affairs and faculty development for enhancing teaching and learning.

She has 18 years of teaching experience at the levels of junior high school, high school, technical college, community college, and university. While at Northeastern State University, Wood initiated and developed the instructional technology curriculum in the College of Education. In October of 1999, Wood received the Regents Instructional Technology Excellence Award from the Oklahoma State Regents for Higher Education.

She received her Ed.D. at the University of Arkansas in Human Resource Development and her current research interest is a comparison study of retention rates and learning styles of online learners, and faculty development mentoring.
