David Cillay is currently the senior instructional designer at the University of Idaho and holds a faculty appointment in the College of Education. Cillay provides pedagogical consultation and implementation to enhance teaching and learning. He has 12 years of higher education teaching experience. Prior to his current position, Cillay was the educational technology applications director at Washington State University. His area of expertise is utilizing technology to enhance student learning, primarily the facilitation of interaction.

Cillay received his PhD in leadership, with an emphasis in alternative learning environments, at Washington State University.
