The Education Spotlight Site is a link to Grace F. Johnson-Page, CPA, CMA, and Assistant Professor of Accounting and Management, Department of Economics, Management and Accounting at Marietta College. Her web site describes the results of her sabbatical project, which began in January 1996, and concluded in December 1996 with the release of this site. The sabbatical was an exploration of the differences in information technology use between small liberal arts colleges and other institutions of higher learning. She says, "If I was looking for help with integrating teaching, learning and technology, other faculty members at small liberal arts colleges must be, too. How could we share our personal stories about how we began using technology to enhance what we do? I wanted to identify a collection of liberal arts college faculty using information technology—some new users as well as experienced users—and tell their individual stories. I hoped it would inform and ignite a spark in those faculty interested in using computers but not sure how or where to begin. And I knew there was only one medium on which to do it—the World Wide Web."
